I take a peak over there sometimes and used to post a bit there until somehow my Log In password got screwed up.
Still have trouble logging in there.
I only have one Marlin which is a Remlin GS 1895 .45-70 and have had no trouble with it over several years of use.

After going there I would expect to pull my JM stamped 25 and my XT apart and see some difference. Of course there are differences, but some of the differences are actually to the XTs advantage. 25 certainly has a simpler trigger assembly but pulled at about 6 lbs with no adjustment.

Sentimentality aside, I consider them equals, far from "Great Gun"/"POS"; neither being the case.

Added note: I did take the bolt apart on the 25 to replace a spring and it's a lot easier than the XT bolt, but that was after 30 years of use.

I've been a member there since 2013, and do have some friends there.
I don't visit as much as I used to.
A couple of years ago there was a big blow up between some members and the Mods.
Quite a few left and never returned, one of those members started another Forum.
That is where most of those hang out, myself included.
It's a lot more friendlier and more laid back, a lot like this place.
A lot of knowledgeable people also and several gatherings a year in different parts of the country.
