This is a half mile from home. I could not believe my luck. The tree is "the Burmis Tree" kind of a landmark. Again not re-touched.

Here's 800 mama cows lined out on a chilly winter day. We move cows around quite a bit in winter. I don't own any. Just push other people's around. :D

Wonderful photo, RanchRoper. Years ago when living in KS, I was really close one time to a rainbow while driving -- similar to your picture. I actually chased it and tried to get to the "end of the rainbow." Of course, didn't make it in time. Almost impossible to do that, but it was a fun chase!

One more, then I'd better do some work. Here's a driver seat view gathering cows. My horse Dakota (his ears at least)...have a good day folks.

Glad you like them. I take lots of pics (my wife always tells me to) so I'm happy to share as long as people like to see them.
Here's one from December that shows some big country. That's my buddy riding, usually just the 2 of us. Hardly ever any pics of me, just horse ears.

Ok, finally found one from the high country. Country is tough on horses but you can't beat the view. With all the hill climbing, maybe the Big Boy Carbine is the way to go...a few lbs less might make a happier pony.

Here's the crew; B&W photo is Badger, and the paint horse is Dakota. They do all the work, I just sit there and take pics ;)
Both are very handy for roping big stock, and reliable in the back country. They've seen it all and get me home safe and sound.
