I had work to do at the cycle shop getting the motor cycles dusted off in the show room and removing all the finger prints. I had a big cruiser with a tow behind trailer first to do that was put in on consignment. Took almost two hours to do it and the trailer that looks like a late model Mustang. That thing was plastered with bugs all over the front plus had been ridden in the rain. Then the big job of working in the show room which I hate to do. In the show room I counted 289 units with the bikes and four wheelers and side by sides. I worked on the bikes because that is what should be selling the best right now but the rain is dragging business down. I ended the day with a 119 dusted off and finger prints removed from the new models on the floor. So my day there was done. On the way home I have to pass my local pawn shop. No plans on stopping there but I thought I could feel my truck steering pulling to the right so I turned in the lot and thought I may as well go in.

I always look in the counters at used scopes and knives. Today there was two American made Schrade lock backs with the sheaths and both were new. One had its paper work and one didn't. Neither has been sharpened and I found nothing wrong with them. I asked a price out the door for the pair and the owners son said forty OTD for both of them together. So there went some of the money I made today. I am not into scrimshaw handle knives but here was two American made knives by a decent company and I couldn't say no. I think I am losing my will power to say no.

Here they are.

My receipt

Up until now I though you were a gun whisperer. Now it is apparent that your gift also extends to knives as well.

I'd say you possibly couldn't get the two leather sheaths for $40; but you've got American-made knives to fill them, too! Great buy!
BTW, I hope it's not too expensive to get your truck steering checked out and/or repaired, if needed....
