Well the snakes are out around here!

Post by fortyshooter » Sat Mar 23, 2019 7:25 pm

Was out walking the dog today and met a neighbor doing same.
He showed me the large area on his dog's face that was stitched up due to what the vet described as a venomous snake bite that had happened a couple days before.
Around our area we have the copperhead and water moccasin and most likely it was a copperhead bite.
I was surprised that the snakes were out so early in Spring due to weather still being on the cold side.

Have to watch out for those and check around my yard since I have a terrier that will go after anything!

Go for the bond arms 45/410. I hear it's a good snake gun.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

I wouldn't bet my life that snakes can't be around on cold mornings, at least here.

Well I can't use that in the city limits but am well covered down at my range property.

I won't tell. It'll be just between us...and 800 of our closest friends.

Haven't seen one around here "yet".
The poisonous ones around here are Water Moccasions, and Copperheads.
There's some Rattlesnakes SE of here over by the TN river.
