range report
bought a bb 357 to hunt pigs. Did a little custom work on the stock sights ( a file and paint) and after a couple boxes of ammo and getting it dialed in at 50 yards went to the 100 yard range with a homemade pig target and shooting freehand was very happy with the 10 shots. 5inch group with three just a little low. first try on this forum hope picture is here

Thats some good shooting at 100 yards off hand. I think the pigs might be in trouble.

Welcome from Va. Great 100 yd. shooting and nice pig art!!!
If you shoot that well at 7 degrees I can only wonder what a sunny 70 degrees would look like...wow!

Welcome from the Show-Me-State, glb. Great results shooting that .357 Big Boy @ 100 yards off hand. And your Range Report shows the rest of us .357 owners the good capabilities of our Big Boy rifles!

That's darn good shooting and good to know. Welcome to the forum. Great offhand shooting at 100 yards. Hope every pig you hit while hunting is pronounced DRT. What ammo will you be using for hunting or is it legal in your location to use fmj?glb wrote:magtech 158 g fmj-flat they run threw the gun with out any problems. one other thing I should mention it was only seven degrees out when I was shooting
