Another suspenseful day coming

Post by 220 » Sun Feb 17, 2019 2:48 pm

As part of our business we sell lotteries products, powerball, lotto etc, sold a division one winning ticket in Saturday lotto.
Someone has a ticket worth $1 666 666.67, ticket is unregistered so no idea who has it, quite suspenseful feeding each ticket through the machine when you know the chance of it being the one are in the hundreds instead of miilions.
As you can imagine lots of excitement for a town with a population of only 1000,

I work in a gas and rob. The lottery is always a pita. Want to confuse me? Ask for a four draw multi day ticket. Huh?

Suspense is over, the customer with the winning ticket walked in to check it at lunchtime today.
Had no idea they were holding a ticket worth 1.6 million. Great that it was a local and not someone passing through town, being a retired couple Im sure they will be able to put it to good use. One of her daughters birthdays today so kids could be in for a surprise.

Do you get any kind of a cash award for selling the winning ticket? I've heard that sellers here in the states do, don't know all the details but am pretty sure they do here in WA state.

I have heard the same about sales over there. Here in Aus it is all commission on the ticket sale.
