Re: Where is all the leverevolution?
Never shot much, so really aren't lookin.
I do have 5 boxes of the 35 Rem that have been in the safe for close to 4 yrs.
They do shoot well in the ole Savage, never tried 'em in the Marlins.
These days I pretty much shoot cast bullets in most of my firearms.
Good luck in your search, and welcome to the forum.
What are you using these in if you don't mind me askin?

Is this the Hornady ammo you're searching for, mtswampfox? I'm not that familiar with thutty-thutty ammo. Found these two locations using GunBot.com. Both companies list ammo as "in stock."

I have about half of a box of their 45-70's that I'd be very happy to give away .... tried it, don't care for it

Should have been more specific in the post, just looking for the powder. Usually shoot cast coated squirrel loads using unique, but we have an abundance of hogs in south Georgia,,,,just sayin. Recent addition of a Henry 30-30 to plink with, puting moms Marlin from mid 1940’s on the wall of fame!

Yep, that was helpful.mtswampfox wrote:Should have been more specific in the post, just looking for the powder. The Bass Pro near me (in the KC area) has it in stock. Silly expensive, but seems to be out there....

Man I guess!Silly expensive, but seems to be out there....
At that price I'd look for a more 'traditional' powder to load with.
I'll bet a little checking might reveal the Leverevolution powder to be close to, or the same as another powder.
Kind of like Valvoline synthetic oil in a NAPA bottle at $3.99 a quart - except in reverse.
Re: Where is all the leverevolution?
Well, that's BassPro for you! You're probably exactly right, the LRev powder has to be a clone of some existing Hodgdon spec (or darn close). Seems to me that the fact that it isn't widely available anymore (and not available for backorder from places like Brownell's and Midway) would indicate that it's on the way out, period. Kinda seemed like a stretch, but I've never used it; gotta watch those marketing types...Mistered wrote:Man I guess!Silly expensive, but seems to be out there....

I can find it at BP in Hampton Va. Seems to always be on the shelf but I cannot find any H-110!
Re: Where is all the leverevolution?
The big on-line retailers often don't stock low volume sale stuff. They're in it for the money, and if there is no local demand they just drop it. Around here, I can usually find most anything at the small mom&pop gun shops near me that are more focused on their local market than some corporate bottom line. That includes rare ammo, firearms, accessories, powder, etc.mtswampfox wrote:See midway, brownells out with no backorder. Yeah, the local LGS is probably a little more expensive, but if money is your only concern........................
