Shooter's Pro Shop (SPS)

Post by JEBar » Tue Feb 12, 2019 9:50 pm

I just received a note from Shooter's Pro Shop (SPS) that they have 50ct packs of Nosler 45-70 Caliber 300 Grain CT Ballistic Silver Tip with Cannelure blemished bullets back in stock for $18.95 (= 38 cents each) .... if we didn't already have more than we will ever fire in stock, I'd be buying

Buy quite a bit from them and never had issues. Love the combined tech bullets , especially with nickle brass. Been shooting most 45-70 now with coated lead bullets from sns. I call them squirrel loads. Whole lot easier on my old bones. Same with the thutty thutty henry just purchased. Been a new learning experience with this tighter than moms old marlin 336 chamber. Trimmed the necks and small based sized the cases. Along with a light crimp think its going to work..may pick up some of them 45-70. Ever see nickle cased brass in this cartridge ?

Yes, they are a great source of blems and overruns at a bargain price.

I remember when SPS was a metal storage rack in the entry way with sticky labels on the bins identifying the calibers of the blems that were available!

I bought from them before I ever became a member here. They are great to deal with.
