I haven't read this whole thread, but
if the Ballad of Buster Scruggs didn't get voted as one of the worst to come out of Hollyweird.
It's surely got to be a close second.
Couldn't watch the whole thang.

You saying you don’t like the Coen brothers work? No Country For Old Men and TheBig Lebowski are two amazing movies. I do however agree that Buster was a bit of a bust. I’ve found that almost every “made for Netflix” movie I have high hopes for has turned out to be a turd.

Just finished watching "Quigly Down Under" again. Great movie and that "Sharps" and how he used it was awesome. Love that movie. Had a movie day today. Also watched "Dancing With Wolves" this morning. Long movie, but enjoyed it again as well.

No Country for Old Men was pretty good.

Although a little long and drawn out in parts, I like How the West was Won too. My parents took me to the show as a kid and saw it.

Also saw The Plainsmen at the show when I was about 6 yrs old and had a big crush on Abby Dalton as Calamity Jane. Well, as big a crush as a 6 year old can have. Maybe I just liked the buckskins....

I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet - 'Once Upon A Time In The West'. Basically Sergio Leones last 'Spaghetti Western' - but produced and filmed in the U.S. with Charles Bronson in the 'Man with no Name' role as opposed to Clint Eastwood.
Henry Fonda shines in his one and only 'bad guy' role with great performances by Jason Robards and Jack Elam.
If you haven't ever seen it check it out sometime. Kind of long and drawn out with a lot of twists and turns but overall a good movie.

The opening is awesome, and the scene with Fonda and the small kid at the wedding shocked audiences everywhere when it hit theatres. Fonda didn't want to do it, but Leone convinced him to for the shock value of seeing good guy Fonda ... OMG is a bad man. Love the harmonica all thru the movie.

I consider Once Upon a Time in the West as a must have for any western movie collection. It was the apex of the spaghetti western genre.
