It is weird how the snow changes so quickly from one area to the next. We got 1/2” during the last storm in Blaine, and Burlington which is 25-30 mins south in the same topography got 8-9”!

We are expecting 1-2” again on Friday/Saturday, and then back into the mid 40s.

It's been nearly Spring-like in my town for a couple of weeks, now. Overnight temps still usually drop below freezing, but not every night.

I saw my first true sign of Spring yesterday, when a Red-Winged Blackbird appeared at the bird feeder. Today, the first Grackle of the year showed up. These two species seem to team up and act like a motorcycle gang of terrorists each year, dominating the feeders for hours at a time...and THEY'RE BACK!

I had a delightful sighting of two adult Bald Eagles from my living room window yesterday (as I was on the phone with PT7). They were flying over the CT River for several minutes, the bright sun lighting up their heads and tails. My house is located about 400 yards away and 60' above the river and they were circling another 60 or so feet above that, so they were very close. Hundreds of them migrate in the winter to fish the tidal river, but there are several mating pairs here year round. Love to see them.

Hunker down East and Northeast, it's on the way. I have been plowing snow now for two days and it's not over yet. 8 degrees today and blowing snow as we received another 6 inches adding to the 6 we got yesterday. Will be below zero tonight. Wouldn't be bad it it wasn't so darn cold.

A little of topic I know but the flooding here in northern Australia is really starting to hit now. The rain that fell on the western side of the divide is making its way inland. There is currently 50 million acres under water, most of the area has been badly effected by drought and cattle are not in great condition. Cattle that haven't been directly drowned or swept away are getting bogged in mud. Losses are expected to be 300,000 head.

Woke up to 41° here this morning with a north wind at 17 mph. This is after being close to 80 for the last three days! That's a lot of cattle lost there 220. Hope it gets better soon.

-13 below this morning. At least no new snow so I don't have to plow. That's a plus. Global warming my big butt. This is a really cold Winter even for Minnesota.

No snow in the TV yet. We're in a hole, it's going around us

-15 below this AM. Brrrrrrr! Well, it's supposed to warm up starting tomorrow, but guess what, more snow coming Monday. I can't plow any higher so will have to get the tractor started and buck some out of the way.

30. So far the TV hole is holding. Snow all around but not here. Still calling for flurries all day. So far just spittle of rain.

overnight thunderstorms, a coooool 38 this morning with 80 + % humidity, and a breeze ... on my 3rd mug of coffee in Texas size mug .... projected high of 41 with more rain later today here on Medina Lake in Texas

Finally got some dry snow dust blowing around. No volume. Just enough to thin coat smooth surfaces. 30 with windchill of 20.
