At Skinner Sights we love Henry rifles. Since the beginning, we have followed Henry's progress and model lineup closely. We are all things Henry! I believe we make peep/aperture sights for every Henry model except the AR-7 and have planned to make mods for those too at some point.

If you have any sight questions I'd be glad to answer them best we can.

Please check out our complete lineup at http://www.skinnersights.com/henry_rifles_18.html

Hope that helps!

Andy

You do a great job modifying the front sight/barrel band on the H001 to accept the dovetail sights. I don't think you make a sight for the Mini Bolt Youth.

We do make a sight for the Mini Bolt Youth. :) Barrel mount sight. We also built a few one off's for a boy scout project.

I wish I had known that a year ago. I bought a Mini Bolt Youth and donated it to the range youth program. It was being shot alongside some very high end rifles.

I had some test models here 5 years ago. Put some sights on them, shot a bunch of gophers with em and sent them back to Henry. Nice little rifles!

Rec'd my Skinner Express yesterday, mounted it an headed to the range. Shoots a little high with the Henry front sight with full adjust at the peep will be OK for now. Great for sight. Thanks Andy.

is it possible to install this type of flip-up peep sight on a Henry center fire rifle .... if so, does Skinner offer them

I don't think Andy makes tang sights but many others do.

That is my Frontier with a Marbles #009825 tang sight and I used a Lyman 17AML for the front. It's a very well made sight and I think it should stand up to a centerfire. I bought the sights from Midway USA.

I like a peep sight installed so that when you look through it you are looking through the buckhorn sight and seeing the front sight .... I don't like a peep that replaces the factory rear sight .... I prefer the ones that gives you a three point sight picture .... but that's just me .... folks should use whatever they like best
