Service Deluxe

Post by Carver » Sat Feb 02, 2019 3:12 pm

I was having some issues with one of my 1911’s. I took it into the local Gun Store to see if they could get it fixed. After the Gun Smith looked at it he asked if I would mind waiting. He came back after a short time and handed me my 1911 and told it was all fixed and to have a nice day, no charge. These people are really the top of line with me. They do a excellent job when ever I have had any problems with any of my firearms. A nice change from the norm.

Always great to hear stories like that in "this day and age," huh?

Any idea what was wrong and what he did? If it was that simple, might be a good DIY to file away for the future.

Sometimes, though, smiths are like magicians - they don't want to give away the secrets!
