I post almost everything from my iPhone. Battery life can be cut in half if charged constantly. But it will be outdated before the battery dies.

Been keeping my Tablet plugged in at the DR table while on line. Hasn't blown up or caught fire yet!

Shoudn't be the case if your phone is using a Li-Ion battery.
Is a problem with Ni-Cad or Ni-metal hydride batteries.

I think I should have taken my tablet for a flu shot. Everything is slow recently.

I see that sometimes too. Usually turning it off and back on fixes that. Cleans out a bunch of temp files cluttering up memory.
If it's just slow using the web browser it may be time to flush the web browser cache.
