Two weeks without a day off. This martini is going to be a nice relief. If it's good, I might make another.

Lot's of new things on the forum. Some to come.

How was your day / weekend?

Watched the race and went looking at new cars. Time to unload the Lincoln MKX and the old Subaru wagon. We want to go down to one car, looking at the new Toyota RAV4 Limited Hybrids. I am just having coffee tonight.

Cooling down this evening, and heading to several straight days of rain again.
Got the Henry mug off the mug tree, and enjoying my last cup of double mocha for the day.

I just drained a couple of shots of Sauza Gold Tequila and I'm chasing it with a stinging cold Budweiser. It was a very good day for both of us today. It may not sound exciting to most folks, but we went to the supermarket together this morning for the first time in way too long. It was a huge step forward in the everyday battle. :D

Just having a Budweiser and watching the playoff hockey game between the Penguins and the Lightning. Tampa Bay leads the series 1-0.

Enjoying a vodka cranberry and looking forward to tomorrow. I'm taking the day off to chaperone my youngest boys kindergarten field trip to the Namekagon River visitor center in Trego, WI. He has tubed, canoed, and fished that river several times with me and is looking forward to showing off his river knowledge to his friends and the park rangers.

We went for an evening ride to Seeley Lake on Monday.

It was nice out and we saw a beautiful rainbow too.

My husband picked up a new CZ Scout on Sunday afternoon in Ronan.

We put another firearm on consignment up there at Ronan Sports and Western Store too.

I am still using a cane on and off but I am not confined to a bed for 2 weeks as I was a month or so ago. I go to the doctor's on Tuesday.

Take care.

I had a pretty good day, the rain stopped around noon, so I took the chihuahua for a walk. Then early this evening I cut my neighbors grass because he wil be away for nine days. He does a lot for me too, especially with the electronics and computer. Just a Diet Pepsi this evening.

Catherine, I don't know you but glad you are able to get out and about some. Sucks to be stuck inside.

As far as the adult beverage for the evening, I am going to put 3 ice cubes in a glass, pour three fingers of Oban, single malt scotch, over the ice, and kick back and watch the Warriors and the Thunder play. I know that does not sound like much of an evening, but it is satisfying to me. Salute!
