Brinell12 for .45 Colt?

Title kinda sums up the question. Is a 250gr RNFP bullet at Brinell 12 good for the .45 Colt[20" barrel]? 900-1,000 MV[tops!]
I'm thinking it's fine, but, I'd like some thought from some of our .45 Colt loaders/shooters on this. Thanks.

Ive have some of those for mine in 452 they worked just fine.

Can't see a problem if the bullet fit is right. I use my own alloy 2:2:96 that is around 11bhn. Not in 45 colt but have driven them to 2000fps with gas checks and 1600fps without with no issues.

Missouri Cast Bullets is a company who produces cast bullets for shooting. So yes they are the builder BruinX

Okay, in the interest of "no such thing as a stupid question," I have a few (maybe stupid) questions about Missouri Bullets.
I believe the bullet being discussed in this thread is this one:

As I understand it, basically all Missouri bullets makes are lead cast bullets. This appears to be a lead bullet coated with a baked on polymer that acts as a lubricant. Got that.

However, it appears that Missouri Bullets don't sell bullets that are "gas-checked," which was explained to me in another thread.

So, I guess the stupid question is: why do some lead bullets need to be gas-checked (or whatever the proper terminology is) and others (like these at Missouri Bullets) do not?

I'm going to hazard a guess here. Thinking gas checked lead bullets can tolerate more pressure and velocity so not to lead up a barrel or get "gas cutting"[?] from too high velocity. Never a dumb question here. Even old dogs can learn new tricks.
