We are not in a rural location; rather smack dab in KCMO. But our cul-de-sac of homes has fairly large home sites with mature trees everywhere. So we are enjoying our very short time here so far. I know many of you good Folk may not like winter/snow/cold like I do, and everyone has seen their share of snow. These two photos are taken from my bedroom window at front of house; views in each direction of the cul-de-sac street. Now for the backyard view. We have a house with a walk-in basement. This wood deck is built above the ground-level patio, and we access the deck through slider door from the kitchen. Again, views are in each direction looking over our backyard as well into neighbors backyards. Sure looks spacious to us after apartment views. And what a beautiful snowfall...God is a magnificent artist!
