Mine? Funny thing... My name reflects my pride in who I am, no regrets. If I could go back to age 19, I would still join the Corps, still fly, still stay in.

After I retired from Aerospace in 94 , needed something to keep me busy, so I took up Wood Carving, started showing my work and got hooked. I still show my carving at several shows. So with shooting , carving, sheep , and now started to reload ammo I have a full day every day. Hence the name Carver.

My first and favorite shotgun was a Benelli Nova 12ga Tactical Pump. When I had it, I wasn't a member of the Henry Forum, but a member of the Shotgun Forum. So onward.

The capacity of my shotgun was 5 rounds, and I added a 2-round extension. I named it Boom, but it was actually a
Pump Times 7.

That's my moniker "story" --- here is Boom in its "glory!"

Well, I used to do a lot of river diving looking for artifacts. I became somewhat enthralled by the earliest stone tools from the Clovis era. Found several of them. When I was looking for a good screen name when I joined my first forum, Clovispup suggested Clovishound. The rest is pre history. Of course she wasn't known as Clovispup back then.

One of the Clovis era points I found was featured on the South Carolina Archaeology month poster several years back.

many years ago i was computer trainer and i always love unix & linux system , more than windows.
so as my first name is bruno, all people use bruniX to call me

Being my name is Ed and grew up in the era of the TV show Mr Ed,well I have always been called this - am still am even by those too young to know about the show.

Well I like westerns, Cowboys, lever action rifles and single action revolvers and double barrels.

Used to have some horses, and helped my brother raise a few cattle.
My fathers family came here in the early 1900's from Portugal.
On a couple other gun forums I use the old Family name, Pereira.
Wanted something different over here.
Vaquero is Spanish for cowboy.

Yep, many of these started with the old "eldest son" tradition, hence Bill Williams, which started as William Williamson, Thomas Thomasson, stuff like that. The "son" gets dropped (sometimes) over the centuries and you end up with Tim Tims and Evan Evans, in some cases, and Tom Thompson, Richard Richardson, John Johnson in other cases.
Frederick Faust was a writer of Western pulp fiction who used the pen name Evan Evans (as well as Max Brand), among others. Sometimes he was published under both pen names...

Really enjoying all responses!. My first name is actually Stephen. My entire family goes by their middle names though. Kinda odd and I don't to this day know why.

Interesting...the first operating system I used in package was Unix. Thanks Bruno, brings back some memories.

Anyway mine is pretty self explanatory unless you don’t know what a Seabee is. I have referred to myself as a dirt sailor as well.
Look up John Wayne in The Fighting Seabees. We are pretty much all just like him.

I joined the Navy as a Seabee at age 18 and "Retired" at 38. Been working toward actual retirement since 1992.
