Got my H012MR BBS carbine today!
Got my H012MR BBS carbine today!
After some tomfoolery with FedEx I finally picked my H012MR up from my LGS today! I have to say that it is even better than I had imagined. I was never able to find one in a local shop so I had never even held one until receiving the one I purchased. If I was ever worried that I might be disappointed that has been put to rest. I can’t wait to get out and shoot it! Unfortunately, I can only go on weekends and it looks like we’re going to get rain on Saturday and Sunday. Hope the weatherman is wrong. Until then, here are a few quick pictures of it. The pictures really don’t do it justice, though.

Very nice. Deano, I have the same and know your excitement. You are going to love this rifle. I have started reloading and am finding the anticipation to get out and shoot to be really big.
Let us know how your initial shoot goes and what inspires you about it.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Congrats on your new .357 magnum, Deano! Great caliber, and I know it will be fun to shoot.
And yours sure carries a beautiful wood stock.
In my eyes, still the best-looking part of a rifle.
Looking forward to your Range Report on this carbine. I'd also be interested in what you think of the large-loop lever and its action. I have one on my SGC and like it pretty well.
Enjoy!

Congrats. I like the wood on that stock. Nice combination of straight and wavy grain and good definition. Love to hear how it shoots.

Beautiful as I would expect. Mine is the 20" version that I put the large loop on. Love it. Congratulations !

I went back through your pics, too, looking for a Van Halen "easter egg," but all I could see that might be a tip-off is the couple of guitars against the wall...

Here you go. Unfortunately, these babies have just been collecting dust for the last several years. One of these days I’m going to get back to playing some rock and roll.

It was the 5150 ampESquared wrote:I went back through your pics, too, looking for a Van Halen "easter egg," but all I could see that might be a tip-off is the couple of guitars against the wall...
Basically a lucky guess based on the twin humbuckers on the guitar (background), etc.
Truthfully that's a great tube amp for any guitar/artist, so more of a lucky guess...........

Yes, they have. “It’s been a long time since I rock and rolled” though. Ha, ha.
