Just saw the wife off to work; 36 outside. Not bad. Talked to my buddy up in Rigby, Id. during the Texas/Georgia game. Said it got down to -12 that night. Brrr! Yep, yesterday was a good day to stay inside and watch some bowl games.

Looking at upper 40's for Friday - and clear roads - which is a good thing since I have to take a motorhome to the Ford Dealer in Portland!

Oh, I can deal with the rain - but we don't want to risk taking a motorhome over the pass in snow.

Temps in the 40's all week. Weird winter. No snow. Too dry. Already had a couple of grass fires east of us.

Surprised that at 5am this morning the temp remained in the upper 50s. Yesterday almost hit 64* on a cloudy day. Today there is a sunny, blue sky and it's now (at noon) 61*. Some kind of weather for an early January winter!

Pleasant for the past few days with temps around 90 the past few days and thunderstorms rolling in late afternoon early evening. Low 90s today then back to around 100 for the remainder of the week.

It's 36 f now. We were supposed to get 4 - 8 " of snow, but it is just rain. Maybe tonight, the temps should drop by 15 f degrees.

I'm having a nice mug of coffee in the Henry mug.

Yesterday, we had heavy, freezing rain. It was `1/8 to 1/4" thick. My step son left for work and slid down the driveway uncontrollably colliding with the spare car at the end of the driveway. His truck didn't get much and the car had sheet metal damage only. In a few hours it was all melted.

Enjoy your day.

41 and foggy this morning - and I'll be heading North about 20 miles to work where it's only 26! Experiencing a unusual, (bit not rare) January inversion where it is WARMER for us and we are about 700' higher in elevation.

We got three or four inches overnight. It's around 10 F, going to 20. I hope you get some, I'd hate to keep it all myself.

Coffee in the John Deere mug, then off to work.

Last night, my fiance parked behind her son, on the curving slope. As the snow fell and the conditions worsened, her car slid into the spare car. It's not been a good week for the spare car. It's just got scars, no significant damage.

I hope you all enjoy the day. Tell us about it over an adult beverage later.
