We had 100 mph winds today. No damage at our place, but lots of vehicles off the hwy in the ditch. All kinds of tractor trailers laying on their sides.

60 mph maybe? Not often and sort of a waste of lead.

34. misty fog in the tree tops. maybe 49 later with rain.
On the subject of high wind. I do not like. I live under the trees. It is unpleasant under the trees in high wind.

it started raining before daylight and is supposed to continue until sometime late tomorrow .... flash flood warnings have been issued .... as usual, our absolute and final plans have to be changed .... a couple of weeks ago we scheduled an appoint for a company to send a couple of guys to pressure wash our camper and truck, once that is taken care of and the weather permits, we will get serious about packing and final trip preparations ....if all goes well, 3 weeks from right now we should be on the road headed south to spend the winter in Texas ....

Just dealing with the snow melt off here, the " snirt " on the road sides and ponding of water. It's been a wet 2018 here!

Ground here is squishy wet. Not unexpected for this side. Did notice from your posts that we've had several days, both sides, almost spring like weather.

I have noticed from first hand experience by being out in it for the last several days - even yesterday while wild, rainy and windy was more typical of spring in Central Oregon than winter!

Wind blew a branch from a tree while I was driving. The windshield, front pillar and roof are all damaged.

Dang! Hate it when that happens. I had similar couple of years ago. Had a branch hit the same corner but lower, just above the hood and windshield wiper nut, driver side Didn't notice for a few days because of ice all over the car and wind shield.

Wind finally let up for a day or so. Snow coming this week and I have some riding to do.
