That reminds me,a while ago I emailed my rv dealer a bunch of pics of a fairly major issue with my 2017 truck camper, and they were going to let me know what the manufacturer had to say. The owner of the rv company is like Anthony. Very interested in making customers happy, but unfortunately his son is taking the reigns of the company, and is a total ASS! Not surprised I haven’t heard back yet.

Thanks for the update! Sorry about your rifle. Glad you got and like your swag. Hope you get your refund soon. If nothing else, you may be able to say something nice about Henry. I recall speaking with a builder about a house. He expressed that his staff were craftsmen and like to work undisturbed, but people seem to find things wrong with their house. I stated that I deal with 50 sailors or as every other week. And if he did a good job, I could pass that on. He decided not to build a house for us and stated that all I could tell someone was we could not make a deal. I guess he was not standing behind his product.

I got a call from Henry yesterday, I was told they had their lead engineer put 60 shots through my rifle and they didn't find any issues. I know they were lying, I stood my ground and took my full refund.

Every time I shot that rifle, it froze up on me. My better half shot it, it froze up on him.bnow there is no problems with it? Hmm, I know they are lying.

with absolutely no other similar reported incidents, lying may be a bit harsh .... while I believe your reports about your rifles, I know from personal experience that I've taken vehicles and such to a garage only to have them run perfectly when hooked up to their machines .... at such times, I've found that sooner or later it will act up again .... the good news for you is, you were dealing with a first class organization that refunded your purchase price .... under the circumstances you relayed, I can't think of many others that would have done so

And even if he was lying, one person does not indict an entire organization (not that anybody said it did).
If it is so, they will be discovered and dealt with.

They might not have used the same ammo as you have. Did you share with them what you were using?

Oh yeah, of course! I told them the grain weights and the brands. I just find it hard to believe that there were no problems found.

I hope that you receive your full refund soon and that you will be satisfied. (I just read this thread and have not been on this board to see all of the issues that you had with your rifle/rifles. Previous threads?)

I would still write to Mr. Anthony and tell him what problems that you had just to see IF they may be having other issues with other rifles. So if there is a problem... they can FIX IT and see what is going on with a part or parts or a design issue with a specific design or style.

Was this your 30-30 rifle that you wrote about several or many months ago (?) or another rifle caliber and style? I think (?) that you had a black - all weather type 30-30 lever action rifle from HENRY but I am not super positive on that now!

You mentioned a Marlin rifle. What did you end up getting there? Caliber, style - lever action or ?, a Marlin that was made in the old CT factory or a newer one made in New York or elsewhere?

Sorry it's taking awhile for me to respond to your post Ms. Cate. It was an all-weather 3030 rifle that I was having the problems with. I did reach out to Mr. Imperato and was able to share with him all the issues I've been having with that rifle. I also shared with him the issues other people with the same rifle in different calibers were having, with permission of course!
Today the refund finally came through, woohoo! Now I will be able to go and try to find myself a more suitable hunting gun. I will surely miss the feel of the Henry Lever Action, and look. But when you have something that is unreliable you just kind of have to cut your losses.
The Marlin I picked up was nothing fancy super simple Model 60 little 22. it is the newer one from New York I believe, so far I've not had any issues with it whatsoever.my better half did try to clean it the first time I shot it it does get really dirty, and he bent a spring in the gun so it was out of commission for about a week. We were able to retain a newer spring fairly quickly and he fixed it right away. I did get a chance to shoot it again and woohoo it went Bang and I still have my fingers.
