Not A Range Report

Post by Sir Henry » Tue Dec 11, 2018 3:29 pm

I was hoping to get to the range but it has been raining heavy and the forecast is 100% for the next few days. But every thing is ready.

I often pre-stage range trips like this so I don’t forget anything. The targets along with the stapler is in the briefcase. My tool box is on the coffee table and is the only other thing I need to grap.

Good way to improve the chances of a successful range day.

Exactly. I’m watching the weather reports and want to be ready on ten minutes notice. I’ll be on standby till Friday for a three hour break in the weather.

I like that attitude. If I can, I will. Me too.

Don't ya just hate it when it takes 6 trips to the truck to load all your "stuff." And 12 trips at the range - unpacking then repacking.
Looking forward to our report.

I sure do. Sometimes reaches expedition status for us. Been times I'm tired before I even start shooting. Oh, yeah, there's a reason I do so much air gun shooting at home. Head down to the basement or step out into the yard and just shoot.

We don't have basements on the gulf coast - would be full of water quickly. I'm jealous that you have a place to practice that is warm and windless.

I'm going to spend the day inside - reloading some 25-20s. Today it is darn cold and there is 23-35 mph wind with gusts to 50 mph. Wish I had a basement!
