Took the 41 for a walk this afternoon

Post by Vaquero » Sun Dec 09, 2018 5:37 pm

The dog and I needed some exercise so I grabbed the 41, and we took a stroll around part of the hunting property this afternoon.
Across a couple pastures, some bean fields, through the woods. Not much wildlife, the dog did jump a couple deer but I never saw them. But I know the bark.
Stopped by an old graveyard, crossed a few ditches full of water, been raining the past couple days.
Hope you enjoy.

Great way to spend an afternoon, out in the fresh air with your pooch and Henry. :)
And that is one sharp-looking Henry rifle posing on the post! Thanks for the hike.

really nice looking hunting land .... from the looks of the larger fields, you could have a long shot .... the relatively clear forest would be prime hunting areas for m

Thanks for the photos of a great looking hunting ground. In a quiet, secluded place like that, it seems that the fallen 1801 gravestone should be righted. I hope you think about it.

Enjoyed it very much. Beautiful country, there, but where's the snow? :)

CT, it's pretty stuck in the two trees.

Actually they were predicted some for the weekend but, thankfully it went a little north of us.
We really don't get that much here.
Maybe once a year some times twice, then some years none.

Last year we got one fairly good one.
I have a couple pics. from last year.
