Good morning. 44 outside and clear for today, having my first cup of coffee. Getting ready for another day of the busy season.

We lived in Zona for a couple of years. Tucson, out by Mt Lemon. 90% loved it, the other 10% drove me away. Got a job offer in St. Louis, got sick of the snow and moved back to South Texas.
I miss them parts of Arizona I liked. The other parts - not so much. Always felt like we were in North Mexico...Now I'm three hours from the border and often have trouble ordering in a restaurant because I don't speak Spanish - guess that's how it will be now.

Shorts and t-shirts today. Have to decide between going to the range or going fishing. Reports of people catching their limit, but I have two "new" boxes of .22 ammo I need to test - CCI and Federal "Suppressor 45gr" .22LR ammo.

Going light on the coffee this morning, in case I go to the range.

I'm going to need several cups of coffee this morning. We had about 30 hours of rain, followed by a blizzard. It is ugly outside. Prediction is 6 inches of snow and 30 mile an hour winds. Eastern Nebraska is not a place to be today. Hope y'all are doing better.

Mom called this morning. She lives a few miles well south of MisterEd. 3" of snow on the ground and still snowing.

weather wise its a happily sad day in our part of the country .. .. happy ==> calling for high of 69 with no rain or wind .. .. sad ===> its the last day this year (stretching sometime into the spring) with a high in the 60's .. .. looks like I need to finish up my third cup of coffee and get busy

Woke up to 53° the temps are supposed to be in the normal range for this time of year with the high in the upper 60's this afternoon. On the second cup of Joe and procrastinating getting to work.

Chilly 29 with wisps of fog, sun shining through. Maybe mid 40's later today. Nice fire going in the wood stove. Today is bathroom cabinet day. Waiting on delivery and install.

Coffee in the Henry mug this am.

Work, then a nice bowl of lamb stew tonight with home made wheat bread.

I love it here in Arizona thats where in at here in Tucson. Im sure as you can remember the summers here can be brutal but the winters here are gorgeous. They are very mild. I wish i could get the chance to go out to the range and try out my BBB 44mag. Isnt nice to be able to walk into stores now and be able to see 22 ammo on the shelves again.

This bit is treading close to the line of race/politics, which I won’t get involved in as I don’t live in that part of the world, although I have spent a LOT of time in the border country around Camino del Diablo, Organ Pipe, and east across past Tucson. I realize illegal immigrants can be an issue, but I have many American born and raised Hispanic friends who were in that area long before the European decent folks moved west.
