Another on twist rates

Post by .45Steel » Mon Nov 19, 2018 6:56 pm

I bought my Steel a few yrs. ago and was under the impression that the twist rate was 1:38. I just visited the Henry site and read that their .45 Colt has a twist rate of 1:16. Did they change it since then or what?

No change, 45. That's the original twist rate for that caliber. Some publications had it wrong for the other calibers because the .44 is 1:38.
