Hello from VA

Post by ShenandoahValley » Sat Nov 17, 2018 1:57 pm

Live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in God's country. Just bought my first Henry (Golden Boy). Can't wait to get out and shoot it. Retired LEO. I own plenty of firearms but this is my first lever action.

_WELCOME!_.jpg
...and Greetings from the Show-Me-State, SV. And what a great moniker...it carries a lot of great tradition as an American folk song. BTW, has "Shenandoah" ever become Virginia's official state song?

Congrats on your new Henry GB. There are other GB owners here, so you'll surely be meeting some of the Folk in the days ahead.

Welcome aboard, when I was a pup we used to camp in Blue Ridge along the Shenandoah. There was one place called Sherando lake that holds some good memories. Got my first real kiss from a girl on that trip.

Glad you could join the fam. Also retired LE... Central VA.
Jump right in and share... Pics, we like pics.
Stories... About just about anything... Retirement can get boring. Lol
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.
