Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
3rd cup of coffee in a Henry mug .... today is the 15th day of November and we've had measurable rain recorded on 14 of them ..
.. the picture below shows our camper as it is parked right now in our back yard .... yep, its still raining .... just checked and they are showing a 0% chance of rain for tomorrow .... even better, no higher than a 10% chance on any day between now and Friday of next week .... for us, this very important .... depending on the weather this afternoon, the tech who is scheduled to install the new roof on our camper may come by today .... he needs to confirm that all necessary supplies have been delivered and to get up on top where he can mentally map out the way he wants to approach the job .... over the next 3 days temps in the upper 50's to low 60's with lows at night in the mid 30's to low 40's .... hopefully, the project will go well

Overnight a little warmer, 47. Smooth even cloud cover, no lumps, no rain. Maybe 55 later today.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Just about perfect weather here for the last week, nights in the 40's days around 80 and we had 1" of rain to follow up on the 2" last week. More of the same for next week with what they are saying could be our best rainfall event of the year predicted with anything up to 3" possible mid week.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
finally, blue sky and calm winds .... November has been a rainy month in our area .... enjoying a second cup of coffee, waiting on the arrival of a Tech to replace the roof on our camper .... 38 degrees right now, I sure wouldn't want to be up there working on it
Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Very pleasant Friday morning...blue sky, sunny, and 40*, heading to predicted 55* (possible range day). Weekend will bring cooler temps to upper 30s/lower 40s and some light snow.
Ready for second Henry mug filled with the good 'ole double mocha.

Woke up to over 12 inches of snow this morning. Got around to get the snow blower out( it's on my lawn tractor) and got it almost finished and the darn thing broke the shifting lever. Its an automatic so it doesn't go anywhere now. I figured out what was wrong and got it back into the shed. I have ordered the part I need, now just need the snow to hold off until I get the part. I guess I will have tomorrow for opening day of deer season.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Morning 36° this first day of regular gun season.
Think I will take the .41's this AM.
Any shots taken will be under a100 yds.
Having some coffee then time to hit the woods. RP

Been working in Brownsville, Tx for the past week (yea, I thought I was retired too!).
Went in wearing a jacket - then changed to shorts. Had the AC on most of the time. When the sun goes down it gets cold fast - don't get caught at sunset with shorts on!
Home in Rockport today - cool, overcast and a good day to stay in and have more coffee. Not sure I like "un-retiring", they'll work you tail off if you let 'em.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
day 2 of upgrading the roof on our camper .... the weather outlook is good .... should reach the 50's around 10AM and remain in the upper 50's through 5PM with a 0% chance of rain .... that's about as good as it is going to get around here right now .... on my 3rd cup of coffee awaiting the arrival of the fellows working on the camper

Started off with a mild 52° here this morning and supposed to warm up to low 70's. Tomorrow starts another week of rain according to the weather bunny.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
44 & sunny here - no complaints! Mid 50s for tomorrow - might have to get out and send a few downrange - depending on how I feel, which is MUCH Better but still a little fatigued and achy.
Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
28 and sunny. Maybe make mid-50s later. Rain coming, possibly as early as tonight.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Bit more rain over night but looks like our great run of nights in the mid 40's and day time temps around 80 is about to come to an end.
Max of 48 for Thursday with up to 8" snow for the higher country, not what you expect 1 week out from summer in Aus but not unheard of.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
I live in South Texas. Yesterday I had to drive to Brownsville - the bottom of Texas, on the border with Mexico. On the way down the traffic reminded me of the Daytona 500 race. 75 mph speed limit - most were doing 90 and weaving in and out...I felt luck to make it.
On the way back north I could see the southbound traffic. It was bumper to bumper, had slowed to about 25 mph and there were wrecks everywhere...this went on for 90 miles. People going back to Mexico for Thanksgiving.
I'm sure happy I made it home safely and have nothing to do today but drink coffee, eat turkey and watch football.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Supposed to help step son move some things this morning and we may hunt together this afternoon.

I hope your day goes well. Tell us about it tonight over an adult beverage in that section.
