Agreed. Kinetic Art! Or, sculpture! Or, design! On second thought, "art form" describes all of the craftsmanship, shape, utility, and beauty of a Henry rifle!RanchRoper wrote:Just finished cleaning the new BB. Here she is all shiny. Oiled up the action, it just gets smoother by the day. HRA makes rifles into a art form.
Well said.

You guys have handled lots of firearms versus my very limited experience however when I pick up my Henry it just fits me like it was custom built to my own specs. Pride of ownership from the manufacturer and the owner. I was disappointed yesterday there were no other people at the range to see it!

Checking out my Big Boy 45 Colt at Cabela's. Shortly after that I plunked down some cash and took it home. That was a great day. Been lovin' it ever since!!

I bought my last revolver at Cabela's and even though the associate was polite, I just didn't feel that friendly personal touch that I get at one of the local gun stores. But for a huge inventory and selection it is the place to shop. A bit pricey, especially on their used guns, at least the one in my area.

Re: Pics. of your Henrys
Soon after I bought my Brass Big Boy .357, we walked the banks of the nearby CT River looking for a piece of driftwood to make a wall display. She found this and we both agreed it was more than suitable. When the HENRY is not at the range, it is here.

Re: Pics. of your Henrys
I was going to post this in the Cow Country topic where I usually post my photos, but since my Henry is in it, I'll put it here. Went for a ride this morning near home and when I got back my wife snapped these before I unsaddled and had breakfast. That's Badger shedding out the winter hair and getting his summer coat. That Henry looks and feels right at home.
