Up early to go to the DMV as it seems I neglected to renew my license in August. Oops. I will need a triple shot in a weiner dog mug to get through this... And, after a lot of sun it’s decided to piss down rain today. 40* out now and not going past .44 they say.

The second morning of 12f above, couple inches of snow on the ground. And we're forecast for a low of 5 in a couple days, before it warms back up. Needless to say, the fat lady has sung on the duck season, and it's not deer season for a week - when it'll no doubt warm up and melt the snow ;) .

this weekend we are camping with our club at Raleigh Oaks ==> https://raleighoaksrvresort.com/ .... yesterday was cloudy/gloomy .... on my second cup of coffee in a Henry mug .... this morning the sky is clear with a temp of 50 degrees .... tonight they are calling for a low of 30, if that proves to be the case it will be our first subfreezing temp of this fall

JEBar, you have a great tow vehicle! I’m used to seeing people try to tow 35’ 5th wheels with 1/2 tons. Although a 1/2 ton might be nicer to drive around town when you get to where you’re going than a Freightliner, at least with the FL you’ll actually GET where you’re going!

Supposedly in the area got down to 28 last night. Didn't see it here. Only got to 33. Maybe 50 later. High even cloud cover. Not rain clouds.

Plenty of variation for us this month, started with almost cracking the 100 mark followed by 2" rain over 3 days that has been our best rainfall all year. We then had a night drop below freezing and are now back to what I would consider normal for this time of year, nights in the 40's days around 80.
Perfect weather for growing feed, cattle have really started to put on some condition, sheep are fat as and the vegie garden is jumping away.

Much warmer this Sunday morning as I have my first Henry mug filled with double mocha. Sunshine and one degree above freezing.

Caught the weather stats last night, and no doubt we've just set a new cold-temp record this weekend. I knew it was cold yesterday morning, and the record set was 9* -- previous record was 19*. Throughout this next week, temps predicted on an upward trend into the mid-50s by next weekend. The KC weather roller-coaster is going again!

Made extra coffee today. The cold front came in last night and temps dropped all down the costal area. Brrr.
My tan is fading and I have on multiple layers today...guess Fall is going away for a while.
