35 this morning in central NC .... our first 30 degree temps this fall .... frost on the vehicles .... the leaves on our dogwood trees are turning red .... with the frost I suspect the leaves on the rest of our hard wood trees will quickly follow

Great photo. Weather here is great. Cool nights at 21F or so and days in the 60's.

Since the weekend the fall colors are really popping out in the KC Northland area.
Very enjoyable to drive down tree-lined highways and country roads.

Temps dropping to low-mid 30s overnight; rising to the upper 50s-mid 60s by the afternoons.
Beautiful fall weather and season change are happening now! :D

Good morning. It's 57 outside this morning. Were having beautiful weather out here our selfs. Plenty of sunshine through the week. Starting to smell the scent of fall in the air and people starting to bake goodies. Still not a noticeable amount in change of color of the leaves yet, but im looking forward to it.

contrast the leaf color below with that in my post 3 days ago, its easy to see that fall has come to central NC .... they are calling for a low of 43 tonight with a 100% chance of rain all day tomorrow and a high of 55

Good morning. It's 58 degrees outside. Plenty of sunshine in the forecast. I miss the rain. We need more of it.

48 and overcast over here on the 'dry side' - rained off and on all day yesterday but looks like it might be clearing a bit.

The talk is 65 today but thats pretty optimistic. I think the clearing is over as it's gray again - and I have wood to split and stack - a LOT of it!!

Ya, hear ya. I've got tarped unsplit rounds all over the place that I have yet to get in. The Ag building west end rebuild and an extensive bathroom remodel have kept me tied up.

Yea I have about two more cords to split. Stacking goes fast and and I dedicate about an hour a day when i get home on it so as to not wear myself out!

Spent most of the day horseback. 60 mph wind today and 50F. Riding in the hills on the eastern slope of the Rockies that old wind was a freight train today.

At the outdoor shooting range on Saturday, it was a sunny and warm fall day! I was there just after noon time, and enjoyed 70* with a mild wind. More identical weather in store for today, and Monday, too. Sure could have used more days like these during our rough, hot & humid drought this last summer!
