Just my luck

Post by bandit1250 » Thu Oct 25, 2018 8:03 pm

Well my hunting plans for turkey may be put on hold. Season starts Saturday and I have been in bed all day sick. I slept almost the whole day. I don't know what hit me but I think every bone in my body ached. I feel a little better right now but I am not going to go out until I know I am feeling good especially with it calling for rain Saturday. These old bones really ache when you are feeling bad. Maybe get out the first of the week. Tomorrow will be a stay at home day and just do some little jobs in my room if I am feeling up to it.

Take good care, Bandit! If you haven't had your flu shot yet, please get it as soon as you're able. It matters for old folks like us. That nor'easter is aiming at my house, too. Should be an interesting weekend.

I had a bowl of chicken noodle soup for supper tonight.
Still does work wonders!

Take good care of yourself, and sure hope you get well soon, Bandit.

Buy another Henry!! Or any new gun. Doesn't matter what brand or caliber. It always perks you right up and makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And yes like the others say plenty of whiskey. Thats one fine liquid medicine, almost just about consider it to be a miracle drug. It kills the illness and the blues, you got friends in low places, gives you courage, it will help you say anything that needs to be said to anybody. It even fixes ugly.
