Good morning everyone. It's windy cloudy morning with rain expected today. It's 67 degrees. Im having my 1st cup of coffee and cigarette. Enjoying the company of my wonderful family. Getting ready to load on Sunday and shoot all week long!! Life couldn't be any better.

Hey! I enjoyed a whole two weeks of no rain, then hit Oregon on Thursday night, and by Friday morning it was chucking it down! Got home to BC and it was sunny and t-shirt weather yesterday! I’m claiming the rain was yours in the first place!

It’s raining here this morning too, but supposed to let up by around 1:00. Back to our regularly scheduled Sunshine right through next weekend if the forecasters are correct.

In our KC area, we didn't get the 5" rain water and heavy-duty thunderstorms predicted over the weekend. But did have some steady rain periods starting early Friday morning through yesterday. I emptied 3" from the rain gauge late last night.

It's raining steady now, and I just checked the "empty" rain gauge. Almost 2.5" overnight! We're predicted 2-3 more days of rain/thunderstorms. 'Tis more the way of the fall happening now.

Think I'll wait on washing my car.....

Looks like we may dodge another hurricane, but the folks between NOLA and Pensacola will not be as lucky. My weather station says rain in 7 min...we'll see!
Made Fried Green Tomatoes last night. I had a BLT with FGT on it in Oklahoma last month and have been hungry for more. Ours were OK, but I'd cut them thinner next time. MY wife and I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen - sometimes we come up with a great meal.

AC guy put an 'emergency' fan motor in the unit and we've had cool air all weekend - the real motor and the bill will come today.

From the looks of that radar screen of Mags it looks like RR you might want to keep the snow blower handy. Cloudy cold and wet here. There sayin it is headed towards the teens later in the week. YUk

I am way ahead on winter prep this year. Snowblower gassed up and ready to rock. Stock tanks all set up with heaters. All the brush cut that drifts snow. Wood shed full. Wooly chaps and wool coat by the back door. Bring it on.

Here in the PNW, I think we are at the tail end of it. For the next few days, supposed to be clearing up starting tomorrow with highs possibly in the low 70's.
Then there is something stirring in Alaska that seems likely to come down after that.

Maybe I’m jaded? The native name for where I live is Semiamhoo, which translates as “hole in the sky”. It can be raining all around us, and sunny at my house. My brother moved to a place known as “rainy Hainy”, and would always complain. I started sending him videos that I took where I spun 360* with rain all around, and then panned vertical and it would always be blue over my place. He got fed up and moved to the high desert.

Cold here today and snow showers tonight temps in the 30's. We all complain about the weather when its to extremes we dont care for. I like to tease RR but its all in fun. He lives in a beautiful part of his country. But all of us seem to adjust one way or the other. Some move about to obtain better weather. I havent been able to do that yet. But one thing I am able to do is not let the weather control everything I want to do. I always seem to be able to find something I can get done.
