Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Morning 67° and rain again this AM.
Well we did get the ride in, was a small group.
Guess most were afraid of the weather.
Was a comfortable day, not to hot.
But we did run into a shower right before we got back.
Only lasted about 30 mins., so I was able to get back home without getting wet again.
Looks like the rain will be gone by dinner.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
You know you have a hot and humid day ahead, when the morning looks like this to start.... Miss Tina had gone out to take care of the livestock when I looked out and saw the moisture rising as ground fog at six am. It was a photo op I didn't want to miss and slipped out to catch the shot. It was already muggy at six thirty.
It turned out to be the last of the hot days for a while and the weather has turned cool, highs in the mid 60s for the last few days. Maybe fall is really here.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Well I hate to say it, but
today looks like it'll be a carbon copy of yesterday.
Rain, rain, and more rain.
Heck I think there is about an 80 something percent chance of it tomorrow also.
But hey, coffee is GOOD!

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
High 40’s this morning and foggy. Now bright sunshine and in the 60’s. Perfect Central NY early fall weather, unfortunately the next two days look like an inch or two of rain.
Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
42 at the moment. Looks like we'll be getting a touch of summer return for the next few days. Highs in the 80s. Done with tea and onward to todays chores.

Well, it’s 50* at the moment and heading for 90*. Clear and sunny just south of Bishop California. Headed for Ventura County (maybe I’ll bump into Ojaileveraction?) and the coast today after 5 days inland. It’s drrryyyyy here!

.
I see snow at the top! Would be cool if you could show us a time progression of pictures from the same vantage point as the snow advances down the sides of the mountain.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
35F today with some snow flurries. This weekend I will finish up the winter prep work around the place, then it's relax by the woodstove for the next 7 months and wait for spring...although I do lots of winter cattle moves which is always a good time.
