Raining this morning. Have settled with stronger coffee - wife said it was beginning to taste like warm brown water. The hurricane that is coming in the NOLA area is missing us (yea - we had our's last year). But we could use the rain.
Been tracking the delivery of my new Henry .22 magnum - should be here Friday afternoon. I wonder if I can do the 4473 form (or whatever it is) early? Or, do they need to have the serial number and rifle in-hand?

Weather is not bad today - suppose to rain, but who knows.
Locally we have "Don't know Dave" the TV weatherman. Typically he doesn't get it right...hurricane Harvey, "Nothing to worry about," then "Run for your lives." I watch the weather in the Atlantic and if anything is happening off Africa I start tracking it.
There are two potentials active right now - may have to bug out late next week.

Cloudy, but pleasantly cool weather here in southern WI this morning. I drove from KCMO to here for my nephew's wedding this afternoon.
Temps have only been in the upper 60s most of the time. Sure is a huge change from the hot & humid MO weather we've been having. I'm enjoying this simply as a welcome refreshment!! ;)

Finished my cup of double mocha; heading out to start the day.
Have a great weekend, Everybody.

Yup have to agree. Got a spackle of rain last night. I say spackle rather than spritz because it was big drop noisy. No volume to it though, so everything still dry this morning. Looks like from the satellite pictures and forecast we'll be catching the southern edge of the rain in the TV that is headed for BC on Tues/Wed. 57 now and maybe 74 later. Wrapping up on the tea for the morning. Does anyone else drink PGTips?

We have had PG Tips here over the years....my wife buys Typhoo now and sometimes just plain old Red Rose.

My morning coffee is consumed while I track hurricanes in the Atlantic. We got hit last year and it makes you kinda jumpy to know they are churning up.

What is PG Tips?

English Tea. We've tried a lot of tea. Best one found to our taste so far. Some grocery stores carry it. But we've been buying it recently from Amazon.

A little sputtering rain last night in the TV. Enough to hear it trickle in the down spouts, but not enough to really wet the ground. 59 at the moment, maybe make it to 70. More sputters of rain expected today.
