Re: Official 2018 NASCAR Thread
Just read this on the Henry Facebook page..
Henry Repeating Arms is proud to make our debut in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with the #90 Chevrolet Camaro, being driven
by Andy Lally. Join us for a weekend of gears, guns, and gasoline at Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin.
President and owner of Henry Repeating Arms, Anthony Imperato, will be in attendance to greet fans and cheer the Henry Camaro to victory. We'll be doing an on-site giveaway of a .308 Long Ranger, proudly manufactured in Rice Lake Wisconsin, not far from the track.
For those of you who can't be in attendance, stay tuned to our social media channels, as we'll be sharing content and streaming live throughout the weekend. The race will be televised live on NBC Sports at 3:20 PM ET on August 25th.

if the 10 hadn't of taken out the 4 I believe there would have been a different winner .... good to see the Camaros running stronger, 4 in the top 10 .... also good to see Chase win another stage

Watkins Glen International ....Sunday, August 5, 2018 3:00 PM ET | NBC
Re: Official 2018 NASCAR Thread
Watkins Glen is a great track, but I don't go there to watch any of the races. I like to see most of the action. I do live less than an hour from the track.

Re: Official 2018 NASCAR Thread
well understood .... I'm not a fan of road courses .... if I was a driver, I'd probably enjoy them but now to sit and watch one small section of the track all day
Re: Official 2018 NASCAR Thread
I like road courses. Me and my family probably have seen over 60 races at Road America, a big, forested race way. All kinds of vehicles from SCCA to Indy. Motorcycles too. We set up at the camp ground down the road, walk or drive to the track. We set up in our favorite spot as our base camp, set up our shade tent, breakout the grill, turn the kids loose. You could sit on your butt, if you wanted, or walk the track and sit, watch, again, at your favorite spot. My favorite spot was a stretch called Thunder Valley. In the days there was no fence and you could get to about 10 ft. from the track. When the Indy cars came out of the carousel and blasted down that straight away full throttle, it would raise the hair on your arms and give you goosebumps. Saw all the greats, the Andretti's, A.J , Newman. At the end of the weekend, we were tired, dirty, and full of brats. And looking forward to the next race weekend. Really good times. Although, we did lose our son for awhile one time. But he eventually made his way back to the camp grounds. Said there was this girl and well... He was 10. Mamma was not a happy camper.

Maybe, I was a little worried. He was and still is, an adventurous boy.

Re: Official 2018 NASCAR Thread
Yeah, Chase finally broke that long Hendrick drought. Jimmie Johnson continues his long drought. I've lost count, but believe it's been about 45 races now since he last won one. It was a cool move how he pushed Chase after he ran out of gas.
It was a great day for many yesterday and I'm sure Nascar is loving it.

How many thought that Logano happening was strange? It seems like the Crew Chief and Joey himself was a little confused about the Garage Rule. Heck, even I know that.

Re: Official 2018 NASCAR Thread
Well THIS will be interesting to watch unfold...
Wonder if NASCAR will make him go through the same "Road to Recovery" program they put the drivers through? LOL. That would be ironically hysterical...

Re: Official 2018 NASCAR Thread
He should go through the program, even though it may not be a requirement for a non-driver. Now I'm wondering if Crew Chief's, Pit Crew's, etc are under that same rule?
