Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
Got the carpet cleaned, got the dogs nails clipped and now I am having a Budweiser and watching Game of Silence on the tube. I'm usually up till about 1:00AM and later I'll check out a late ball game and the scores on ESPN.

When camping, in my "younger days," I had been known to have a beer for breakfast.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
That's amazing, Dutch. I can usually stay awake until nine. After that, I'm going to fade fast. I'm out like a light inside of ten minutes in bed and stay there until sunrise ( except for the 2 am trip to the outhouse). Even then, I often doze a bit more until about 7, when the cat can't stand it anymore and starts knocking the wastepaper basket over to make enough noise to get me up. I need and I get a lot of sleep. She's a very smart cat.Deadwood Dutch wrote: I'm usually up till about 1:00AM...

I used to be that way Dutch. Keeping dayshift hours, I'm usually up between 0630 and 0730 hrs. I get tired around 10 and go to bed soon thereafter.
A martini or two help get me ready for bed. It sounds good. I think I'll go make one.
How was your day?

Just cut the grass between showers today. We certainly are getting a lot of rain lately, which we actually needed. But the nights are pretty cool in the mid 40's. Probably just have a diet Mountain Dew tonight, as diet soda goes I think that it is one of the best. I am watching the Pirates and the Reds ball game, then Blue Bloods at 10:00. I have to be at a little league game at 10:00AM tomorrow.

I'm up at 4:30am most days and wiped out by 9pm. Tea time now and relaxing.

Rain showers, but you had a good idea there! After working the last ten years before I retired in 2012, from 11Pm till 7AM I am very rarely in bed before 1:00AM. Last night it was 1:45. I'm usually up by 7:00AM but then I take a nap during the day.

It's a rainy night in Franklin County Pa. and I'm sitting here drinking a Budweiser and watching Toby Keith on "Soundstage."
