Why is it that fans don't seem to like KB so well but seem to be the same folks that liked DE Sr so much? He, it seems to me, was the worst about using his bumper to move people out of the way for a win. Just wondering.

when Sr did such things, in post race interviews he almost always responded "that's racing" .... when other drivers did the same to Sr, in post race interviews he almost always responded "that's racing" .... as was then case after yesterday's race, Kyle was interviewed and said "that's racing" .... when it happens to him, he loses his cool, and throws a tantrum

Didn’t like Earnhardt driving through people to win either.

I didn't like it either and like I mentioned above "no matter who it is", but I believe what stevej is getting at is, even though, Dale was well liked. Actually, we can really say that he was well loved.

I basically agree about Dale, but I can remember at least one time that he was not too happy after a race. Believe it was Pocono and I believe it was the time that Mayfield beat him.

I don't ever remember him being happy about it, I also don't ever remember him whining about it .... getting even a few races later, yep .... those were the days that built the sport ..... sadly, those days are gone .... it was really sad to see so many empty seats at Chicago

In the Xfinity race Justin Haley was not too happy with Nascar and wished Nascar would be more clear on the Yellow Line Rule. Just his 2nd start in the series, but I guess he never watched many races on TV. Heck we all know that rule and he clearly violated it.

yep, he's about as green as they come and learned a hard lesson .... he had plenty of room above the yellow line to complete the pass, no need for him to have gone below it

Right and he actually had it backwards. He said that there was plenty of room and did not know what Nascar's problem was. If he was forced down, it would have been OK. Having the room and not using it was the problem. He proved Nascar's point for them.

Make a rule... find a way to break a rule... this is awesome - and I'm sure it's accurate. No way it's by "chance" that so many teams have a dark color over that particular spot...

I'm absolutely AMAZED at the level of smarts that go into these cars. Somewhere... somebody... maybe over a beer... looked at someone and said... "You know, I think we can beat that laser thing." --- and the race was on.

Unfortunate part for NASCAR was that the "cheating" used to be stuff that a common man could understand -- thus identify with. Now... it's an advanced degree holder who finds a loophole in a computer algorithm to exploit and take advantage of .... link below ===> http://kickinthetires.net/index.php/201 ... -weakness/ ... and most common fans are lost in the understanding of it. Something about high end technology kind of kills the fun in the old fashioned cat/mouse games...
