Took some pics but they all had my kitchen counter, coffee maker and boxes of ammo as background. Will take some tomorrow on the bench where I can set things up better. Photographing rifles is WAY harder than 1911s.

I've taken photos of all my Henry rifles, and agree with you that it is more of a challenge than a handgun. I really have to work at it with an older Nikon 35mm. Mostly I take my pics outside and take more than I ever post....have to pitch quite a number of not-so-good ones.

I've found I like to do this ---> just photograph sections of a rifle. I've even done that with a revolver. Anyway, I posted photos of my BBB right after I polished it one time, and it was so much easier to do this "sectional photo" group. I have many favorites, but my favorite, favorite is a Factory engraved Winchester 9410 lever action shotgun done shortly before the factory in New Haven closed.

I only have one so far. H010 45-70. I love this rifle. Paired it with Skinner sights and 405 grain LFN-HB hard cast handloads at 1600fps.
It'll do anything I need it to and more...

2nd Henry in under a month. Small Game Carbine (SGC) in .22LR. Shooting a bit high out of the box, but HRA is sending me a new front sight to make it right!

My .30-30 was high out of the box too. Fortunately I was able to lower the rear site to the bottom position and then it was good.
