Well, since you asked, we have a Henry All-Weather 44 Mag BigBoy that is set up with the the HiViz three-dot from the Henry website. The Skinner website isn't totally clear on this, but you will definitely want the 8-40 threads if you go with a low-pro - the Henry scope threads are similar to a Marlin. You could probably call Andy at Skinner to confirm this. I think there was a previous thread on this subject a little while back - one of our members learned thru trial and error with Skinner that he needed 8-40 (vice 6-48) threads on a low-pro for his Henry. The low-pro is height adjustable, but not adjustable for windage - you have to drift the front sight to zero it in.ESquared wrote:Tractortad:

My guess is that low-pro will work with the factory brass bead, but you will probably have to raise it a few turns from the bottomed out position. Good luck. By the way, if you are looking for a good way to fill the empty dovetail slot after removing the buckhorn sights, check out Ranger Point Precision's "profiled" rifle barrel dovetail fillers - they really clean up the look of the rifle...ESquared wrote:Thanks again, tractortad!
