What an experience, Dave. Extraordinary. It must have been overwhelming. Thanks for the cool story and the description of that extreme luxury.daytime dave wrote: What this blue collar boy from Upstate NY was doing there, I'll never know, lol, but it was amazing.
I think the known issues are taken care of. If you have any issues or know of another member who is having issues, PM daytime dave. As we head towards the holidays, hunt with your Henry.

Re: The Weather Channel
Quite a lot of rain the last two days here in the KC Northland. The thunder and lightning were quite the sight! I've not recently seen such strong lightning; better than 4th of Julydisplays last night.. About 1-1/2 hours due west of us in KS there was the potential of tornadoes yesterday, but nothing serious developed. Still the weather reared its head. In two strong storms we gathered over 5 inches of rain water, which keeps everything green, but carries flood warnings, too.
Keep on thinking that these "April showers bring May flowers." This morning it is cooler and greener outside!

Re: The Weather Channel
The temperature has really dropped here too, I was really surprised to feel how much cooler it was from yesterday when I went out for the paper this morning. From 83* yesterday to 64* expected today.

Neat story dave. In the mid 80's my wife and I were scheduled for a two week vacation when her boss came to her and asked her to cancel her vacation and work as he needed her. He said he would fly the both of us anywhere in the world if she worked that week. We choose Eygpt! We airline tickets, hotels and dinners the bill came to about $10,000 and that was in 1985 or so. Her boss didn't even blink an eye.

We had temps in the 80's last week but its 49 degrees out right now. I was going to work in the yard but the house also needs a good cleaning. Indoors sounds better.
