Re: Uberti Silverboy 22lr
Although not a replica of any particular old west rifle like some other Ubertis any review I have read has been good.
Quality fit and finish on my Uberti is top notch.

Their rifles look good but I wonder about customer service if there is ever a problem. That is not a concern with any H.R.A. rifle.

Mine was thru an authorized dealer. So far so good after a thousand or so rounds.

Re: Uberti Silverboy 22lr
My 1873 replica had problems because I dry fired it once to often. Uberti customer service is just as good as Henry and they fixed it free for what was clearly a user problem and it was back in my hands in about two weeks.Travlin wrote:Their rifles look good but I wonder about customer service if there is ever a problem. I am glad that you had a good experience with the service on your rifle.
Re: Uberti Silverboy 22lr
Does anyone know what size threads the reciever takes for scope base ?
Re: Uberti Silverboy 22lr
I bought a thread gauage at hardware store 8x40
Re: Uberti Silverboy 22lr
Here's a comparison shot of my Uberti Silver Boy with my Henry Golden Boy. The Henry wood is superior but I love the scope mount on the Uberti.

Re: Uberti Silverboy 22lr
All in all are you happy with your Uberti as fat as workmanship and accuracy ?
Re: Uberti Silverboy 22lr
Both are smooth and shoot about the same but I'd have to get set up with a bench and do ammo tests to split hairs. The open sights on the Henry are better but I like the Uberti scope mount.
If I can hit a golf ball at 50 yards, that's good enough for me.
I love lever action .22's and hope to get a Marlin Mountie, Browning and Henry H001-T to join my Uberti, Henry Golden Boy and Winchester 9422.

Re: Uberti Silverboy 22lr
Im going to set mine up with a Skinner lo pro. I will let you know how ot turns out. Thx
Re: Uberti Silverboy 22lr
Well installed the lo pro with the original front sight with rear sight as low as it will go it shoots 2 inches high. The locking ring is too thick
Re: Uberti Silverboy 22lr
Ended up not using lock ring. Just threded sight in reciever using blue locktite.
