Temps in 70's. Need rain. Fires burning already around Alberta. Not near us thankfully.

Been raining nearly every day here for a couple weeks, but the sun has been playing hide and seek. We will get a peek of sunshine, just to tease us, then it hides and mother nature laughs and laughs. She can be cruel sometimes.

There is an up side, however... :? The landscaping looks great. :) Everything is green, flowers are blooming, and four of the six juvenile fruit trees have fruit for the very first time this year. :P

We are just above seventy now, looking at low eighties and afternoon thunder boomers. ;)
Coffee is brewing, cups standing ready on the counter. The day is ready to launch. 8-)

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Ah, weather reports predict it will "cool down" today, drop out of the 90s, with 89* being the high. Friday back up to 97*. Still a warm stretch here all happening before June 1st!!

Finished my first Henry mug of double mocha. Thankfully, we had some rain relief overnight, and I just checked my rain gauge. So grateful to see .7" water sitting there. And I know my plants and our grasses agree with that. :D Hurrah!

It is barely hitting 60 here. Not a lot of rain but very overcast and dark. I see in the forecast the low will be 39 degrees tonight. What ever happened to global warming?

I visited the lake about ten years ago. At least I think that was the lake. How close is it to Siler City?

Yee-haw! Come on down to Texas. Temps in the upper 90's this week and going up over 100 this weekend. We just set our coffee outside a while to warm it up.

Mornin all you Henry lovers.
First day of June and it's raining again.
Been about the wettest Spring I can remember.

But the coffee is good,

We're either extremely wet or extremely dry these days. Don't know if it's "climate change" or what but right now we're going through and extremely dry spell. Not through with first cup of joe this morning. Right now it's 77° with 94% humidity. Wish we could squeeze some of that water out of air and put it on the lawn. :D
