Ejector replacement

Post by 2guns » Sat Apr 21, 2018 2:21 pm

I took bolt out of action to clean and lost ejector. My stupid mistake for being in a hurry. My 45 colt h006c. Does Henry or brownells carry this replacement part for sale.

I agree with JEBar. Call Henry on Monday and ask for CS. I'm sure they'll send you one.

I will. Feel stupid for forgetting it. Anxious to clean to get lead out of barrel. Cleaned a Marlin 30-30 and remembered it. Bet I don't forget again. Cleaner was so strong I had to clean outside. Probably in all the leaves blown under my deck. Tried my Frankford Arsenel magnet but no such luck. I'll be happy to pay them for another one. If cheap enough may buy two.

Spoke with Henry this morning and they will ship one out free of charge. Should have it within 2 weeks. That is service to me.

Contacted April 23rd. Still not here. Sent reply email back to Jeff and he assured me 3 days ago it had been mailed first class mail. Didn't say when but they sure are slow for a piece that would fit in a small envelope. Not impressed with speed of service but my mistake so still waiting.

I'm pretty sure that they refer it to Henry Pride LLC, which is the "official" source of parts. When I've ordered some little thing, like a hammer spur, I get a confirmation immediately, but it doesn't show shipping for a few days. They're not the fastest, but I suppose our orders get mixed in with the coffee mugs, t-shirts, etc. that they're sending out, too ;) .

Emailed the president of Henry and I know have a tracking number to go with it. He made people jump.

Hopefully, it will show up shortly. I have had to request two parts (screw) from Henry (first was my mistake). In both instances, I e-mail support (Dina) and received the part within the time frame promised.

Henry Repeating Arm's customer service is excellent. The front firing pin on my Big Boy broke a couple of years ago and they sent me a shipping label and repaired for free of course. Just recently I was starting to get light primer strikes. I thought it was an issue with my priming tool as my old one broke and I wasn't sure if the new one was seating primers as deeply. Upon cleaning my Big Boy I found the transfer bar was quite worn and that was most likely the culprit. I called Henry and they sent me one for free of course. Arrived yesterday. I'll post a separate thread with pictures when I get the chance to install the new one.

Henry's service is second to none!

Got the first order today and was advised keep the other one when it gets here Thursday. Good deal.

I can understand your concern. It can be tough having a firearm and not being able to use it. They seem to cover a lot of concerns (due to our efforts or not). I called Marlin about a set of replacement screws. I was kindly informed of the bill. So, it is not too bad of a deal (receive parts with no charge). Hopefully, they will be around for awhile. I may wear out a few parts every now and then.

Got the one I ordered 4 weeks ago yesterday and the one with tracking number today. Three day turnaround. Tried to send one back but they wouldn't have any part of it. Said they had inconvenienced me enough. I feel bad because I lost it. Wasn't their fault.

Anthony from Henry sent me a really nice coffee cup and a key chain with my order at no charge. I'm liking these people.
