Re: Evil Roy is gone
As much as I dislike the Evil Roy signature on that otherwise beautiful firearm, seeing nothing and knowing that it is gone is an improvement.

I get that. For sure, I'd feel funny carrying around gun that is labeled Evil Roy.

Nicely done. Enjoy it.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Roy never looked better .... nicely done indeed
Re: Evil Roy is gone
Hey, Carver. You really "took the bull by the horns" and did a fantastic carving job sending evil roy into the sunset. You've really created an heirloom rifle for yourself.
Wish we had a "thumbs up" smilie to put on a post...in fact, a double thumbs up would be better yet!
Good job.

Re: Evil Roy is gone
I agree - not only is it distasteful but the name Evil Roy is a reference to a cheesy early 70's comedy western. As much as I dislike the Evil Roy signature on that otherwise beautiful firearm, seeing nothing and knowing that it is gone is an improvement.
Lets hope the engraving of guns with names in poor taste is over....

Very nice. Beautiful work on the carving and the finish.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Re: Evil Roy is gone
I'm with you guys..a great improvement over the evil roy signature. I even contacted Henry and asked if I could buy an evil roy with a plain stock. They said they were sorry, but no. They said my only option was to buy the evil roy and then buy another plain stock to replace it. Made me sad. And cost them s sale. Oh well....
