It's a place in Canada that sells remanufactured ammo. They have a tough time getting 45C brass, but maybe now I see why. $1.59 US per pound is $2 Canadian.

Approximately 60 .45 Colt cases per lb. - and some dude wants to give you . $1.59 per lb? Thats like .026 per case which is highway robbery! I think you could get probably 4 - 5 C. per case in the 'real world'.

Might just hang on to them for now. Another long winter like the one we just had, might be lots of reloading time.

good move ... if you should ever make the incredibly wise decision ;) to load your own ammo, you sure couldn't by casings for what he's wanting to give you

Cowboy inventory; another 14 boxes of Sellier & Bellot on the way next week that I got cheap. That should fill any gaps in the ammo stock... :D

Wow...glad you didn't let that fellow rob you of your brass.

Some of my first hand loads were 45C put together on my Mother's kitchen table with a Lee Loader that I purchased for $10 in 1974 or '75.

Get yourself a pound of Unique, a couple hundred Large Pistol primers, some 250gr Speer Swaged semi-wadcutters and a Lee Loader. You can be putting together your first loads in no time.

I did that when I was 16...and 44 years later, still doing it!
