I love the sound of steel guitars

Post by Henry88 » Thu Apr 19, 2018 6:37 pm

Hey guys,

I ran across this. I can't believe the tone these things make. I don't know much about them. I guess they were obscure until Hank SR. started using them?

Something like that....

I would like to pick one up, maybe when I have time after I retire. Plug it into my Fender Super Reverb > to die for tone :D

Love it. Jeff Beck!

Yeah Jeff and his "Volume Knob". :D

But that's like a '54 Strat or something; no slouch as far as sound either :D

I have played in a few bands through the years with some great steel guitar players and they add so much to the music. They stand alone on most ballads The harmonics they can get out of them is just plain beautiful.

Very nice. I remember that sound growing up as my household was always a country music stronghold.
