Are there any archers here?
Blew what was left of my tax return at the bow shop yesterday. Now the proud owner of a compound bow. I used to shoot an old recurve after school almost every day back when I was a kid. This is a whole new ballgame! Soon as I figure out a place to shoot safely the adventure will begin. Are there any bow shooters here?

I have a compound bow that I bought from an acquaintance. It's a Browning Summit II. I have shot it once. I'd like to get better acquainted with it, but there's no time. If we have the interest, a bow section can be made.
Some days I'm Andy, most days I'm Barney........

I used to shoot traditional, some years back, but it's been awhile, now. Not sure how much bow I can handle, physically, anymore. I do think about it, though. I'm like Dave, though. Can't handle all the hobbies and interest we have, now.

Re: Are there any archers here?
I used to go archery hunting every season while I had my deer lease. Had to give it up in 2007 because the timbre company sold the land. I haven't found another that I can afford.

Diamond Infinite Edge Pro- just something basic I could play with in the backyard. Doubtful that it will ever see the woods. Wanted to get back into archery after a 45+ year absence.

I have owned a couple of Diamond bows. What I like about them is the amount of adjustment in poundage pull and draw length. After heart and hernia surgery I had to set mine down to 45 lbs. In that particular bow it will still take down a whitetail even at 45 lbs. Great bow for the money.Abnermal wrote:Diamond Infinite Edge Pro- just something basic I could play with in the backyard.
