A nice glass of Segram's VO Canadian is getting cold from the ice as I write this. I hope all had a good day. I worked and then did a favor. Now home, it's time to eat, drink, and be merry. Merry after the drink part I'm sure.

Tell us about your day.

Had a dental appointment for cleaning this morning I'd almost forgotten about. After I got home I changed the oil/filter on my old truck, then lunch. Did my kid's taxes for 2016 as we finally got his wage transcript in. One of his employers never sent him a W2 for 2016. Now I'm just relaxing.

No pictures, but a Canadian whiskey and water is waiting. I hope your day was good. Why not tell us about it.

Me, after work, I traveled to the closest Toys R Us to see if they had anything good left in diecast. It was only 10% off and not much left. I picked out a few goodies, but there wasn't much.

I'm about to partake in a glass of scotch. I worked early today and got home early. I have Sunday gravy on the stove (it should be just right by Friday), the dishes are almost done and most importantly, I was able to test the Bavarian sharpener for our friend, JEBar. A long day and an early night.

I hope your day was good. Tell us about it.

Being retired and wait for the storm to move threw, Dinner has been over for a while. My wife make Beef Stroganoff from scratch. I have finished my Bourbon, Jefferson Select, real old, small batch. I spent the day reloading and setting up new dies to reload 7.62X39. Loaded 12 rounds for checking the load. Now we just for the snow we got today and are expecting to get tonight to melt so I can get to the outdoor rifle range. I have not shot my Henry 45LC yet had it a whole week.

I saw the first hummingbird of the season in my backyard this afternoon; a female. They usually nest in my cypress trees, so she should be the first of many.

The blackberry bushes and fruit trees have sprouted leaves, buds, and flowers, the Green Frogs are croaking in the pond, the Hen is giving me an egg a day, the peonies are about 8 inches tall, the daffodils and tulips are blooming, the blue hyacinths have popped up all over the yard, the mint is growing by the water spigot, the Chipmunks are running all around the yard, the cursed Moles are tunneling, a pair of Robins are building a nest outside of my bathroom window, two Grackles were in the throws of passion on the front lawn this morning, and my pollen allergies tell me the trees are healthy, too.

It's finally spring again, ignoring the fact that the temperature today was nearly 90 degrees. And, even though Cinco de Mayo is three days away and the sun hasn't set for the day yet, I'm celebrating the new season with a few shots of Tequila!

With all that's happening in your backyard, I wouldn't know which way to turn/look next!
From Nor'easters to a 90* "spring" day. Where did the spring season happen?!? :?

I had to go to a meeting for the part time job. It went long and I'm having a Canadian whiskey and water.

Good night my friends. A long day.

Odd coincidence. After seeing purple earlier, I'm working on a Irish whiskey over ice.
