Chilly and windy here in LV today. Didn't stop the town from partying.

Overcast, foggy at times, temps around 30F but we have seen a few days in the upper 40's. Some snow over the last couple of days. This morning was the first day I could "smell spring" in the air. Different than winter, smelled like rain and wet grass. Nice for a change. Even the old timers here are saying what a hard winter it was.

First time in months we're having a steady rain in our area -- desperately needed. We've been in near-drought conditions throughout this entire winter. Almost feel like getting outside and doing some "dancing in the rain!"

Had a cup of double mocha in my potter's mug instead of dancing.

Raining most of the night, and still raining. Supposed to rain most of the day and change over to snow later in the afternoon or evening. Don't think it will amount to much or stick around. We are hoping it will quickly fade away. The cherry trees, fruit trees, and most of the landscaping has gotten it's leaves, much has budded, and some has already bloomed. Don't need damaging weather. Lol.

Fourth Nor'easter in less than four weeks is approaching. Sleet is falling right now to be followed by snow. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 15 inches are expected today and tomorrow. Ugh!

a "winter mix" is falling in our home area of central NC on this first full day of spring .. .. no accumulation for us but just a bit north reports say its pretty slick .... a second cup of coffee in a Henry mug sure taste good this morning

Woke up to the expected snowfall, about an inch on the ground and the light show falling. Supposed to snow into the evening. May rain overnight. High of 38 midday but back down to the low thirties quickly. Fifties by the end of the week.

March really is crazy. Coffee brewing... Stoneware at the ready.

Morning ritual by being awakened by dogs to 49° this morning. A bit cool for this time of year. On second cup of coffee trying to decide what firearms to take to the range tomorrow. I'm leaning towards the Henry .327 and my P229 .22LR.

KCMO weather has settled in for the day. Blue sky & sunny, with predicted high temp in mid-50s. Decided to trust tomorrow's prediction and will head out for an outdoor range then. Same weather as today, except temps to reach mid-60s.

Still need water for the earth. Only got 1/2" over the weekend, but more predicted coming next weekend.

Ready for second cup of double mocha in the potter's mug. Have a good day all.

I'm leaning towards the Henry .327 and my P229 .22LR.

understood .... for me, it would be very difficult (if not impossible) to leave that 327 behind ..

At midweek, it's in the 30's. It's going to 47 today. Fifties the rest of the week. I hope March continues to go out like a lamb and that woodchuck has indigestion for six more weeks.
