Our Morning Coffee and Weather

Haha. We are under a snowfall warning again for the weekend. Another foot or so coming. I'm getting to like the stuff

We received some of your cold but not much snow. I like snow too.

30 f and snowing. 5 inches down so far. The snow plow somehow managed to put all the snow in front of the driveway.

Temps in the low thirties and wet, rained most of the night with high wind warnings in effect. We did hear things falling from the trees in the wooded areas, but we cut back dead trees a few years ago so no damage. The sun is out... for once, and we are supposed to see the low fifties in early afternoon before temps drop just below freezing overnight. See-saw.

Coffee is about done, the large stoneware mugs stand ready.

60s and even approaching 70 degrees!

The craziest part of the Las Vegas weather to me is the wind. It's fairly common to have evenings with 40+ mph winds for hours.

We ended up getting about a foot of snow or more. It is wet and heavy and slick to drive on. Just a normal winter.

35 degees but supposed to hit the mid 50s again. Tina has a recert this morning for her state testing for chickens. She can test them for certain diseases and then band them so they can be shown in major shows, or shipped for sale. I will be working on the box, which I flocked yesterday, and is very near completion. Coffee is nearly done, stoneware mugs stand ready. The day is on the launch pad, and the count down has begun.

Mmm...good coffee. The sun is out and it should be 40-45 degrees here today. When Ang gets back from letting the horses out and mucking stalls, I'm itchin' to go for a walk back to the range in the woods and put some rounds through the new .22 pump.

Another snowfall warning with a couple of feet expected. We got about 6" yesterday. 18F this morning but forecast calls for mid 40's later next week and weekend. Talked to one of the gun range members, sounds like the range is completely buried in drifts. No shooting for a while, unless I see old man winter that is....he better run a zig-zag pattern....seriously though, after last summer's fires we got what we prayed for....a big old fashioned winter with tons of snow. All good. Tea time and morning chores.

I've been drinking too much coffee, up to eight cups a day and my cups are double. Three days ago I decided to stop cold turkey. Not a good idea. I had a migraine headache and then barfed. Caffeine withdrawal is a killer.

A beautiful morning in Colorado. 65 today. Finished my coffee a while ago. One good bite, no fish yet.

Nice overcast day here in Sugar Land. I should be outside raking up the live oak leaves. Instead I'm finishing a sax overhaul on a 1938 Martin Handcraft alto. It's gonna' be a really nice player when I'm done with it. I'll post for sale after I'm finished.

A brisk thirty this morning, supposed to hit mid fifties again with nary a drop of rain predicted. A nice day ahead.

It was warm and sunny yesterday. Today promises to be almost as warm.

Rumor has it of another spring snowstorm starting tonight, through Tuesday morning, with 8 -12" possible; I'm hoping they're wrong. But it won't last long, in any event.

I'm off to Fort Lauderdale in the morning. Anticipating 70s and sun!
